Year 1 had an exciting Science lesson today to understand animal diets. We found that herbivores eat plants, carnivores eat meat and omnivores eat both. To find which animals eat each diet, we became poo detectives and looked at what food we could see inside animal poo. The children loved it even though they found it disgusting.
