We have a fun 'Stay and Play' session on Thursday 3rd October from 9.00am-10.30am. You are very welcome to join us! If you are unable to make the session then no problem at all as everyday is an open day at St Barnabas. Celebration Worship – you are welcome to attend our Friday celebration worship at 9.05am (weekly), with light refreshments served from 8.55am, just report to the main school office.
Rhyme Time – We welcome children from birth to pre-school and for parents of children in our Reception class. This is held every Wednesday morning (except the first and last weeks of the half term) from 9.00am – 9.30am. No need to book just report to the main school office and refreshments will be served.

The closing date for school Admissions for each September is the 15th January the same year. Applications received after this date will be classed as ‘Late’ and will be considered after all other applications and placed on a waiting list in the over subscription criteria order.

21 May 2025 - deadline for on-time appeals
Appeals will be accepted after this deadline but they may be heard at a later date than appeals submitted on time.
6 June to 19 June 2025 - notice of hearing issued
For appeals submitted on time, notice of appeal hearing date and time should be issued in this time.
23 June to 4 July 2025 - appeal hearing will take place
All appeals submitted before the deadline of 21 May 2025 will take place by the end of 4 July 2025.
26 June 2025 - notice of hearing for late appeals (VA, Free schools and Academies)
For appeals lodged after the deadline of 21 May 2025*, notice of hearing date and time should be issued by this date wherever possible.
Week beginning 7 July 2025 - late appeal hearings will take place (VA, Free schools and Academies)
Hearings for appeals submitted after the deadline of the 21 May 2025 will take place before the end of the 11 July 2025.
3 July 2025 - notice of hearing information issued for late appeals (LA Community)
For appeals submitted after the deadline of the 21 May 2025, notice of appeal hearing date and time should be issued in this time period.
Week beginning 14 July 2025 - late appeal hearings will take place (LA Community)
Hearings for appeals submitted after the deadline of the 21 May 2025 will take place before the end of the 18 July 2025.
Week beginning 4 August 2025 - school holiday appeals
Hearings for appeals lodged after the deadline of 21 May 2025 but received before 11 July 2025 will take place by the end of 8 August 2025. Due to school closures this week only applies to community schools.
Appeal hearings for all appeals lodged after 21 May 2025 will be heard with the on time appeals wherever possible. If they cannot be heard with the on-time appeals, they will be heard within 30 school days of the date the appeals is submitted. In some circumstances, this may mean appeals for the September intake will be heard after the school’s summer holidays. We will stick to the above dates wherever possible, however these dates may be subject to change depending on the numbers of appeals received. Appeal hearings are heard in a hybrid format.
