Today was transition day, when children get a taster of what September holds by spending a day in their new classroom with their new teacher. Year 4 spent the day in Year 5, getting to know the routines and expectations of upper key stage 2. The children made self portraits and took part in a variety of tasks to help staff get to know them better. It was wonderful to get to meet the children in a classroom setting and I’m sure next year will be a great success.
