We created self-portraits using natural materials in the style of artist Andy Goldsworthy. They are displayed in our school hall along with the self-portraits from the rest of the school.
In our PE sessions we have been moving like different jungle animals. We also played a fun game called monkey tig and we loved being the lions that had to catch the monkey tails. We have been trying really hard to get changed into our PE kits too.
On European Languages Day we had lots of fun learning how to speak French. We learnt numbers to 10, colours, sang Frere Jacques and learnt greetings such as hello and goodbye. We also tasted lots of delicious French foods such as brioche, pain au chocolate, baguette, garlic cheese, croissant and creme caramel. Tres bien, merci!
We have loved learning about Elmer and how we are all special and unique. We have made our own Elmers using lots of different patterns and marks. We have worked really hard with our mark making and have created super marks and patterns. In maths we have been finding one more and have been recognising numbers and counting.
