We really enjoyed helping out in church with Rev David's Harvest Worship. Our first project of the new school year. 😊
We are very proud of our WOW (Worship Our Way) Group led by Mrs Ham. We meet every Wednesday lunch time to plan worship, discuss and plan competitions and school events and evaluate weekly worships. We are delighted to have help from one of our parishioners, Glenda Parkinson and Lorraine Bacon and Reverend David Bacon, who give generously of their time.
This year we shall be leading worship every term in October (Our Christian Values), March (Bible story) and May (The Holy Trinity)
We went to St James’ Church yesterday to work with the St James’ School WOW group and we saw some fabulous stained glass windows. We thought it would be a great idea if we could have some stained glass windows in our school hall. We then thought we could have the school Christian values on each of the six windows. We chose the following values which we felt were the most important in our school. Each class has been given a value. Please could you create a design for a stain glass window for your class’ value. Please bring them back after the half term holiday and we will choose the winning designs and they will be made into stained glass windows.

The WOW group are very proud to announce that the Macmillan coffee morning was a huge success and we raised £380.32 to help Macmillan in their fight against cancer. Thank you to everyone who supported us and made it such a success.
Worship is central to our school life at St Barnabas' and we are always looking at new and inspiring ways of sharing God's Word.
Our WOW (Worship Our Way) committee meets every Wednesday.
Here are some of the things we do:
We monitor the impact of our collective worship on every member of our school family through questionnaires and worship diary.
We plan and deliver acts of worship.
